Python environments

I am learning all sorts of new, basic technical things here. One is that if I want to run two versions of Python (a programming language), I can create two “virtual environments” on my laptop and each will run a different version. I can then choose whichever virtual environment I want to use by typing a sentence into my laptop’s “Terminal”.

Which means that I get to log onto my computer every day and type:

source activate dallinger_env”

which makes me feel like I’m in charge of blasting off a spaceship every morning.

The small things :).
